Advanced equipment for rapid detection of explosives and drug traces as well as other dangerous substances works using the technology of Ion Trap Mobility Spectrometry.   
A huge advantage of L3 detectors is a total absence of radiation from the ionization source (photonic ionization source). This technology is patented by the Company.  Therefore, it is not required to obtain a license to use the equipment, to perform radiation leak tests and   to make decisions on radioactive waste disposal.
Routine service includes cleaning and maintenance using standard materials. Maintenance costs include only desiccant replacement, if needed, and sample traps and molecular sieve (optional) for certain devices. Lack of radioactivity in the radiation source facilitates equipment maintenance without making additional difficulties with consumables disposal.
